Ed Gorens

Ed Gorens, Director of Vetting and Credentialing at RELI Group, brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the field of transportation security and aviation safety. In his current role, Ed leads RELI’s TSA practice, overseeing ESVP, VAD, and RHPED contracts, demonstrating a deep understanding of security and regulatory compliance. Ed’s career has been marked by significant contributions to enhancing security measures following the Aviation and Transportation Security Act’s passage in 2001. With specialization in inline systems, Explosive Detection Systems (EDS), and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) systems, Ed has significantly improved airline passenger baggage screening accuracy, aligning with TSA’s goal to screen all airline checkpoint and check baggage for explosives. His extensive experience with TSA led him to join RELI in 2020, where he oversees the Secure Flight program and conducts complex data analysis for TSA leadership.
