Sol Horwitz Joins RELI Group as CFO

RELI Group is proud to announce the recent appointment of Sol Horwitz to its team as the new Chief Financial Officer, officially starting with RELI on February 5. Horwitz brings more than 30 years of experience working in accounting and finance operations, business operations and development, and staff direction and management, with expertise in federal government pricing and contracting.

Most recently, Horwitz served as the CFO at Insight Policy Research, a small business specializing in federal government research, where he was responsible for finance, accounting, pricing, compliance and contracts. He revitalized the finance team and transformed morale and credibility, facilitating communication across many departments and with clients.

In his past experience, Horwitz offered a wealth of expertise in reinvigorating pricing and contracting functions for a small government contractor, resulting in remarkable expansion, and has played a key role in several acquisitions. His past accomplishments include facilitating an impressive 800 percent growth rate, establishing efficient departments, securing and prolonging significant GSA contract vehicles, and cultivating pivotal connections with federal contracting officers.

Horwitz holds a BA in business from the University of Maryland and is a certified public accountant in the state of Maryland. In his free time, he acts as a professional musician and volunteer for nursing home patients.
